??-Sep-2008 ----------- p.37, Fresh Dill Cucumber Pickles (with Garlic) made 2 x 12.5 lbs: 1x with double garlic, no dill 1x with 1/2 garlic, "some" dill used red onions per recipe (I think I left them out in Aug) had larger diameter cukes, didn't "cook" in first batch of vinegar 1 week later, drained 5.5#, removed onions and washed stuff off them, saved all stuff, threw out old vinegar; made new 1.5x batch of vinegar/water/salt, "cooked" cukes and stuff in vinegar pot
